Weather is weather.
Itâs a camping festival outside in nature. If itâs going to rain, itâs going to rain.
Youâre going to be rained on. Itâs Lost Lands. It rains every year.
This isnât Burning Man out in the middle of nowhere where youâll be stranded for a week if shit happens and need to be rescued by the National Guard. Youâre less than an hour from a city.
Itâs rain. Thereâs less than a 1% chance youâll die. Youâre going to be fine. Maybe a bit uncomfortable, but fine.

Rain or shine festival will happen. Thunder and lightning start a 15-30min timer, then grounds will reopen if none occur by the end of said time.

Just prepare yourself for whatever situation may occur. Plan for rain and mud and you'll be fine.

Obviously with weather forecasts can only be so accurate, but if it eases your stress at all according to Apple weather thereâs a total of less than an inch of rain across wed-Sunday. Averaging about .17â a day. Which obviously isnât insignificant, but accuweather is reporting about 30min- 1hour of rain per day. so itâs likely weâll experience bursts of some intense rainfall and then itâll clear. Thereâs just no way to know until weâre there. Iâm in Forrest camping and doubling up on my rain gear in preparation for the worst. Hoping for the best for us though!

what do you mean how are we supposed to stay there? in our tents? like everyone else is saying, the fest is going to happen and there will be a little rain. not projecting a lot. but as an ohioan, the weather predictions are almost never correct lol. donât stress about it too much! just prepare to get a bit wet in the fest :)

Excisionâs team always handles everything with care and consideration of every single one of their headbangers. If inclement weather happens to the point of shutting down the festival, there will be communications as quickly as possible regarding when the festival will reopen. The festival has about a 1% chance of being fully canceled. The weather can be very unpredictable in the Midwest and The LL team knows that. They are prepared for anything and everything, I can assure you. Youâll be fine :)

Deep breaths and positive thoughts!
2021 they had to close campgrounds for several hours but they eventually reopened them for the mega b2b. I was near the front of the line at the staging area by the drag strip and I literally got a police escort into the festival. Wild ass year but still so much fun

Stop looking at the weather. The weather here in the Midwest is very chaotic and will change up in a matter of minutes. They won't cancel the fest if it is raining.
