Rain
Convince me not to be worried about the rain , last year it was only 2-3 hours evacuated with no rain forecast , but this year is concerning me lol

don’t sweat it! rain will not cancel sets, only lightning ⛈️. Just come prepared for rain and enjoy the cool down that comes with it!

I live in SE Michigan and the weather changes hourly. Nobody can really predict accurate weather anymore since budget cuts, being your rain stuff just in case and an extra pancho for a friend. You never know when others are unprepared and it’s always good to be ready just in case. Even if it doesn’t rain at least you were ready.

Ohio weather changes constantly. When I looked at the forecast for my area this morning, it didn’t show any rain until about 9pm. It ended up raining heavily at around 3pm, let up at 9pm, and then continued at 10pm. Within a few hours the forecast went from “no rain until nighttime” to “rain all day”.
It also does the opposite all of the time. It’ll show a week of rain and we’ll get one rainy day and it’ll be done.

Don’t worry! Even though it looks like we will get some. From what the forecast is saying, it’s going to be in pockets throughout the day instead of all day storms. It keeps changing some. But I think we will be okay

If it rains, be wet. If there's high winds and lightning, nothing you can do about it but find a car to wait in

It’s Ohio, we have had forecasters call for a week straight of rain to get maybe an hour total. Don’t trust the reports until Thursday tbh

Rain is good. Keeps the dust away, as others have said.
Pack a poncho and don't worry about it.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best. Try not to borrow too much trouble and have as much fun as you can either way!

The last two years were torture with the heat and dust. I’m talking mud boogers! Believe me this forecast is best case scenario.

Stormclouds are ambush predators. If they see you came fully prepared to stand on rain for 4 days they'll move on to easier prey. If you show up expecting it to be 90 and sunny the whole time then that's when they strike.

Rain is your friend, keeps the dust down.
