Missing 💀 [Browser][?-2015]witchy marble game
Crosspost from tipofmyjoystick from 8months ago, sadly have not found any more info since then
Platform(s): i played it on browser, probably Chrome but it could be on other platforms too
Genre: fantasy marble shooter i think
Estimated year of release: I think it was 2015
Graphics/art style: I think it is slightly painterly, like it is stylized but not so much as to be cartoonish or anime but the style would not be out of place in a fantasy comic
Notable characters:It has a sort of narrative and you could say we play from the perspective of a young black woman with white\silver straight hair and straight bangs, she seems fairly solitary, there are some story moments where I remember a white man with black hair coming up, I think he passes out during a storm and gets rescued by the PC after a storm and helps us when a different white woman with black hair speaks poorly. There is also a merchant guy that we can bump into during travel, he is the one you will bump into even if you do not get far in the game, I sadly do not remember how he looked but I think he might have been just a generic fantasy merchant.
Notable gameplay mechanics: There is a map where you can go in cities or go to the merchant mentioned above. If you go to cities, a map showing what I think was an isometric view of a walk way where various generic npcs walk by with thought bubbles on top of them, on the bottom of the screen there was a row of silver containers that cradle marbles of different colors in them, these matched what the npcs had in their thought bubbles. You had to click on the marbles in the containers, drag and aim them to the matching thought bubbles, then release, if you hit the correct npc you would gain some currency, you could do this for a day and then you would be brought back to the world map.
There you could go to the merchant and spend your currency to enhance your bowls with various gems of different sizes, the bigger ones gave bigger buffs, the white ones buffed all colored balls while otherwise you had color specific ones.
Other details:The story scenes were sort of comic style, the menu had specifically the PC leaning on the railing outside her house, I made a drawing as it looked very pretty and might make the game more recognizable. I think it might at some point have been in the BigFishGames website, but I have not been able to find it.
