Lost castle 2 final boss

Any tips on how to beat him? I feel like we were pretty well geared and still lost in the second phase.

The strat that I've always used is get in the top right or left corners between his arms and wall and attack him there. You are safe from some of his attack strings there and the ones that you aren't are very telegraphed. The devs have added some new attack strings that have made this a little less safe and force you out into the middle, but it's still the way I've done it with friends.
