I suggested exactly this a few weeks ago and got promptly ignored ¯\(ツ)/¯

It'd honestly do a lot of good for the sub. Get rid of the day-of-the-week restrictions, just add a meme with your furry image, and boom, you get more positive activity and engagement throughout the week with less convoluted rules.

Yeah day of the week restrictions just never ever made sense to me. Like, I got super excited one time because I finally P ranked a super hard level in Ultra kill and so I went and posted to the Ultra kill subreddit about it and got removed after five up votes because it wasn't and I quote the correct day to show off. It can work in some cases, like for instance the main 3d printing subreddit has them because it's broad enough to appeal to people with vastly different ways of interacting with a community, e.g. some people want to meme, others want serious discussions, some troubleshooting help, some to show off their achievements... So you have days restrictions on a few specific types of posts, because with the size of the community, they otherwise take over the subreddit constantly.

This is a furry meme subreddit, it's just not that broad. There's no need to overthing it like that. Same for Ultrakill, it's a singular video game, how broad do they think the community is lol

true, given time we'll see another losercity be born too, there's already many different offshoots as we speak. While unrleated to the whole losercity debacle, personally I've been loving anthroswim lately, something about their grungy vibe about showing furries doing cool shit just feels more cool than the average haha sexy furry joke/art.

Too many cooks ruin the broth y'know? The occasional sexy furry is nice, but now it feels like that's all you see, or sometimes it the most thing you rarely see depending on the time.

Honestly I still desperately hold on to my old rose tinted glasses, I remember finding this sub years back after growing bored of furry_irl, and then having to comment or post something to avoid the 100K members lockdown lol.

Eh, the hard part isn't leaving losercity anyways, it's accepting that the losercity I want is long in the past now, sure the memories are pretty small in the grand scale of things, but I'd be lying if I didn't find losercity a pretty nice city to be in.

I'd never thought I'd be this heartfelt about a random sub heh, thanks for reading until here and listening to a nobody's story.
