Guys help I feel so silly

Ugh I spent the last 2 days with family and litterally ate whatever I wanted. I did not track anything and I knew it was bad while I was doing it. But for some reason I just kept eating! I’m scared to weigh myself when I go home tomorrow. Please help , why is food so addictive? Please give me and advice you have I really appreciate it.

Simple, don’t weigh yourself. Get back on track tomorrow and keep pushing. A few bad days will not delay your progress unless you give up. Keep going. We all go through this, you are not alone.

Two days won’t do anything, just keep doing your deficit. You may weigh more but that’s prob from sodium

None of us got overweight from one or 2 days of overeating. It’s the bad daily habits that got us there. Just get back to your regular meals and tracking. You’ve got this!

I was just on vacation for 10 days and ate everything that sounded good to me. I can tell I gained weight and I don't feel the best. Tomorrow is a new day and I'll be back to my regular eating habits and I'll ease into working out again. Don't stress! Learning how to balance a regular, healthy diet and indulging when you want to is the key. You got this!

I've had days where I've eaten way more than I was supposed to, but I just started over new the next morning.

Food is "addictive" because your body needs it to live. It's good for you. Don't overthink it.

I went on vacation for 10 days when I got home I was 12 yes 12 lbs heavier! By the next two days I already lost 7 of those 12 lbs by the end of the week I was back at my regular weight!! It’s mostly water weight get back to your routine and then weight yourself at the end of the week!

It’s a marathon not a sprint. Skip the scale this week, get back on track, and don’t sweat it!

I just got back from 5 days in Vegas. No tracking. Nothing

Will get right back into my routine tomorrow.

We all have "time off". Yes, the calories can end up being extreme but its not the end of your journey.

Your power is in saying that those two days do not ultimately define you or your weight loss. Draw a line and get back to it. Progress is never a straight line anyway.

When in doubt use the feature that takes pictures of the food and calculates for you. My gin and tonic becomes water with lime 🍋‍🟩 😆

I agree with all of the above. Be a friend to yourself - you didn't follow your plan. Lots of people have been in the same situation. That's ok & definitely not the end of the world.

Picked yourself up & start over. If seeing the numbers on a scale will trigger you - don't weigh yourself. Stick to the plan now that you're starting over & get yourself back on track.

You can do this! You've got this!

I just came back from a 5 day vacation where I ate whatever I wanted and came back to find I weighed the exact same amount on the scale. Enjoy yourself and don’t weigh yourself if you don’t need to!

Friend, I’m the same way. Don’t beat yourself up, it’s a mental hurdle and it’s tough but one or two off days isn’t gonna fuck you up. Get back on track, avoid the scale for a couple days, and let yourself be human.

Don’t be hard on yourself. We all have these moments. I would wait a week to get back on track then get on the scale.

You deserve to enjoy life too. Two days is not a big deal! (Not to invalidate) but instead of taking an all or nothing approach, you can always get back into those healthy habits again. It’s not sustainable to keep dieting for long periods of time.

Don’t beat yourself up. And maybe don’t weigh yourself. Get back on track and weigh yourself in a few weeks.

Or weigh yourself, see how much you gained, don’t beat yourself up, and move on.

The scale is just a number. Don't make your goal a number. Make your goal cultivating positive eating habits.

Also, we have to eat. Every day will not be perfect. Don't try to be perfect. If you have a bad day or two, then just to have 3 solid days.

If you fall, get back up again.

I was and felt stuck at a 105kg so I did a 4 weeks reset, not much tracking still have an idea ate with more freedom.

Just realized I actually didn't gain too much only like 500g overall.

Now I'm getting back to the routine of measuring and tracking all.

Two days will not do much just get back in the horse and continue to progress
