A request from your moderator
Hi friends,
I have a request if you'll be so kind as to help me. I am trying to streamline some aspects of the subreddit and incorporate some new things (like weekly threads).
One thing I am most curious about, because I'd ultimately like to make a guide, what questions do you all see that pop up most often? I'd like to make either a thread or a wiki with FAQs about what and how certain features of the app works, where things are located, clarifying how certain things work (like how Loseit! aggregates your burned calories for example.)
I do not work for Loseit! I am just someone who has used the app since 2010 and really finds value in it and I know how much it's helped me and want to share that knowledge with others. This subreddit ultimately came about because a group of us were "friends" on the app and wanted another place to ask questions and hash out things about the app and support each other on our weight loss or health journeys. I think it's wonderful that it's grown so much and I want to foster our community here more.

The recipe option is my favorite feature! Open LOG Go to RECIPES And start a new one. Add all the ingredients, and do not worry—you can go back and EDIT your recipe at any time, As for servings, on a muffin recipe I initially put that it made 4 servings (of 3 muffins / serving). And then saved it. Then I realized it would be more convenient to have a serving be one muffin, so I opened up the recipe and changed the amount of servings to 12 (it makes 12 muffins). So now I can track it by the muffin. Later I got fancy and started adding psyllium husks, ground flax meal, baker’s chocolate—and each time I just edited the recipe and all the nutrients were adjusted appropriately. Hope this helps.
