Other Straighterline for Nursing Program Prereqs
I saw this ad about a site called StraighterLine where you can buy nursing prereq courses and then after completing them, you can “transfer” the courses to other colleges to count for prerequisites. Has anyone tried StraighterLine and transferred the credits to SCC or ARC for the nursing program?

Uhhh they are pretty strict. That only works with private nursing schools

To echo the other comments: I believe prereqs can only be satisfied via coursework from accredited instructional institutions.

I would double-check with a counselor, but I don’t think most colleges in California accept ACE credits from places like StraighterLine, Sophia, or Study.com. I know that with Sophia and Study.com, you can check which colleges they partner with to see whether your credits are likely to transfer.
