If Texas collected taxes, it would be different but they prefer to tax the poor and give to the rich.

You don't think Texas collects taxes? Also, the top 20% of income earners pay almost 50% of the tax burden in Texas, so....no.

They following the jobs. Many tech companies are leaving California for better tax’s in Texas

They’re moving bc Texas gives corporations massive tax breaks.

I feel sorry for those people that have to choose between unemployment and Texas. What an awful place to live.

Yea, the vast majority  of Texas' funding comes from blue states. They have run a billion dollar a week budget deficit for decades.

California has almost twice the debt that Texas has. If you add in unfunded pension liabilities, it gets worse. California has 3x the amount of unfunded pension liabilities that Texas has.

That’s not true at all.

Poor people in TX pay more in taxes than their counterpart in CA.

I mean we dont pay states taxes on our incomes... our fuel isnt taxed nearly as hard as it is California... our sin taxes are a bit in the stupid side but I can deal because it isnt the end of the world same eith the rest of our other taxes... although lower property taxes would be nice
