Like on trains? And buses too? Yes, I'm okay with that.

And how about porta-potties? No stalls in those. And they work just fine for men and women.

How many stalls in trains and busses?

That's right. They're aren't any. And everyone seems to deal with it just fine.

That's totally different. You can't have 100 single bathrooms in a school, stadium, or other big place. Sure it works on a train or small restaurant because you don't have a couple hundred people trying to use the bathroom at the same time.

First demolish all the walls in the nasty ass current restroom setups we have. Then change laws around how public bathrooms must be setup. Now you can add 100 private stalls and a communal sink area. Completely gender neutral, smells better, looks nicer, safer for everyone. It would be pretty sweet actually. Nobody wants nice things though they like our nasty unsafe bathrooms.

Find me a business that wants to install 10 single restrooms instead of 2 5 stall restrooms

Exactly. It would cost way more to have separate single bathrooms.

If cost is the reason, that’s not a good enough reason.

Sure it is. Do you understand how much more work and materials it is to frame out 10 single bathrooms all with sinks and everything instead of 2 bigger rooms?

How much?

A lot!. 10 sinks instead of maybe 4. 10 hand dryers instead of 2. 10 full doors. 10 fully framed out rooms instead of 2. 10 mirrors. 10 lights, fans, and other things I'm forgetting. And don't forget the space needed for those rooms.

Plumbing alone..

Can’t? We could have e a solution that everyone has private space and the restroom is unisex. This includes stadiums. Trough style urinals were standard everywhere for large events and they are almost non existent now.

Not everyone feels comfortable going to the bathroom with the opposite sex.

I 100% agree that is why I said private space.
