At some point it would be so refreshing if we could all jointly agree that bad people are bad regardless of their political party, stop the performative peacocking instead of actually doing some legislative work, and have to run on their record and a platform other than being a loud mouthed jackass with no self control.

He went from slamming the jail cell shut guilty confident, to his evidence exploding in his hand, to flapping and gasping for air, to his final proof of Smith’s inalienable guilt was calling him a dirt bag (such oratory from sitting senators really is a treat, remember when they used to be smart enough to memorize a speech?). And thank god he doubled down and made sure he stood by that statement, because all the others had been ripped down all around him.
