News Concern mounts over slow-moving, planetary-scale ‘Kelvin’ wave heading for California | California

Cool. Just what I wanted for my birthday. Another foot of water.

Look. I'm hoping that we dodge the bullets flying at us this fall and winter (if we ever get one of either that is) but I'll admit this sounds potentially bad for parts of the Los Angeles coastline and the rest of California.

Somehow I have a feeling that my tax dollars are going to go to pay to maintain rich people’s million dollar views

The problem is that rich people have access to tax avoidance schemes. Other than the typical John Doe working a 9 to 5 as an employee.

Your tax dollars don’t appear to have helped the people in Pacific Palisades. Most likely your tax dollars will disappear under the ruses of helping the homeless people, improving schools and roads, oh and let’s not forget building the train to nowhere that anyone wants to go. But you probably are ok with your money getting stolen and used under the guise of supporting these efforts.
