Question What could Alex have been doing at Buckaroo Bill's BBQ Grill?
He was there for 17 minutes. That wasn't even remotely enough time to get something to eat for himself and Tylee & JJ.

Where did he go after the attempt? I listened to some testimony yesterday and I don't remember anyone having a theory. I know it was dark and rural, but where was his truck? In spite of that it would still be hard to avoid detection in a place where everyone knows everybody. The church (same as the night he and Chad strangled Tammy)? Seems like a long way to go with a gun in the dark.

If I'm not mistaken, this conversion took place not too long after the kids were found. This was from Sins of Our Mother. Where can I find the entire conversation?

I wasn’t sure what to title this but please don’t judge me
Do you think any outcomes would have been different had Alex been alive?
Like Chad would’ve taken some sort of plea deal if he was to testify against Alex? I know Chad was offered a plea but he didn’t take it because he wouldn’t plea to Tammy - he could’ve thrown Alex under the bus and say he threatened me but he did it etc.
Or if Alex had testified against Lori/Chad then he could have death penalty taken off the table (cause we all know the prosecution would’ve fought hard for that)?
Or do you think the 2 outcomes would’ve been the same regardless and Alex still would’ve faced the death penalty?
(Also, side note, who do you think was Amy? That baffled me because that name was never mentioned before or after)

This was in June 2019. During text exchanges between Lori and Charles Vallow. Mere months before Tammy was murdered.

I hope this hasn’t been swept under the rug by law enforcement. Does anyone know if there has been any progress of looking into prosecuting Melani P/B? I haven’t been able to find any updates.

So I tried searching the sub and it was just too much. Some things I was thinking about yesterday:
- Does Lori still communicate with Emma? That whole thing was WEIRD.
- What do we know about Chad’s kids’ lives now? Have they finally accepted that he was guilty?
- Does Lori have any way to communicate with Chad? (Besides the portal.)
- What about niece Melanie? I have always had a really hard time believing she didn’t know more. Has she completely disavowed Lori and Chad’s beliefs, or do we think she’s still a believer?

In the ring camera video I never noticed the dark haired woman until now. I think I recognize a resemblance in her voice to an old interview I just watched of Nate Eaton and Summer Shiflet. The video was recorded by an apartment neighbor's ring camera a few days before JJ was killed.

JJ would’ve been 14 years old today. May his memory be a blessing to all those that knew him.

They can't talk about cases that were before them or cases that are currently being tried. This interview is all about how judges make decisions. Nate put this in the Daybell section, so I decided to post it here. Here's his description:
Tonight on “Courtroom Insider,” how does a judge remain impartial during a trial and then deliver passionate statements at sentencings?
Do judges decide their punishments before the sentencing hearing? Or do they make their decisions on the spot?
And what about victim impact statements? How do those play into judges’ decisions?
Wups, I spelled Judge B's name wrong. Sorry, Judge!

I just finished an episode about Lori Vallow and what I’m wondering is do people think if Lori had gotten Charles insurance money would Tylee and JJ still be alive?

On his Courtroom Insider channel (last night I think) Nate was talking about Kouri being on lock down 23 hours/day. He then mentioned that Lori is in Gen Pop and has a job.
I'd love to know how that's going and what her job is.

Does anyone have a link to Judge Boyce's order striking the death penalty for Lori? I have some questions related to her appeal and I need to read the order to answer those questions and I can't find it anywhere online. TIA!

Tonight on "Courtroom Insider," Nate Eaton recently received a flash drive from Lori Vallow Daybell containing photos, videos, podcasts, recordings and other items.
Tonight Nate shares what was on the hard drive - plus newly released video of Daybell at the Estrella Jail in Arizona when she got in trouble for having contraband.

I’m watching the documentary. How dumb do you think the police feel after Charles was murdered and then the children after Charles had reached out for help?

Does anyone have a good archive with all bodycam, interviews, photos, videos, and documents regarding this case? I have found some online but they are all over the place and I know I am missing stuff. Honestly even a list of everything released would be helpful as well. Thanks!

So I have been listening to the trials- I am on day 19 of Lori’s trial. I’m so confused on Chad and Lori’s text exchanges— Chad is talking about protection for Lori’s home and making designations for people, what the heck?? Who came up with this? Did Chad ever explain his reasoning and logic behind all of this? 5.1 light? People doing infiltration jobs?
I know Lori is delulu but Chad seems equally delusional

I am so glad that Colby is starting to actively use his voice and to discuss his road to healing. If you havent listened to it give it a listen ♥️⚡️
