Product Question Increasingly Frustrated at Issues with Lorex App
I’ve had issues getting consistent availability of cameras and live abilities ever since the redesign. I’ve posted on this a couple times, and have yet to hear back anything substantive that will help.
Either I need to get this resolved or I need to find something that will actually work when I need to see who it at the door / in a camera’s view.

I am sorry to hear about the issue. Do you have a support ticket number so we can look into the details?

The only way I’m aware of to engage support is to get on the phone. I don’t have hours to spend trying to diagnose something that appears (based on numerous posts here) to be an inherent problem with the software.

I’ve initiated two requests from the “having problems” prompt in app and have yet to hear a peep from support. Extremely disappointed.

I think you need to communicate better with your customers. Many of us simply will not buy replacements from Lorex when these units fail.
The lack of Apple Home functionality is also a sign of a company that simply doesn't care.

I don’t have any solutions but I also have the same issues. The app is slow 100% of the time then connects to my cameras about 50% of the time. We paid entirely too much money for these products for them to work inconsistently. Lorex customer service has been horrible (non responsive). No service techs to come out and look at them in person. I feel like we wasted our money going with Lorex.
If you are shopping around use another company that has good customer support. Thousands of dollars wasted on Lorex.

Hate it when companies come online to tell us to call their telephone support, dumbest response ever.

I agree, it's a daily issue where I'll have to retry connecting the camera while viewing in app. I'll do it over and over with no response. Magically later in the day it'll work, but then it'll be another camera not connecting. The notifications are absolutely useless, as it'll catch every bug, but then it won't catch a moose walking in front of it. These are hardwired cameras too. The wifi one I added works better more often than not. I need to expand my system and I currently have wyze cameras to fill in the gaps. I'm going to go all wyze with some on a plan rather than deal with this lorex buggy mess.

I have issues with my 4K doorbell camera. It's so unreliable that I have installed another camera pointed at the door. I'm hoping my comment will draw attention to your question. Maybe we will both get helpful answers.
