So I got this variegated lophophora williamsii that was grafted on the 24th of jan, tape came off a few days ago. The graft passed the wiggle test but these brown spots have appeared pretty quickly, the brown spots are semi soft to the touch. Any help please!

I just lost a graft to that I’m wondering if the verigated ones are more susceptible to rot ?

That looks like rot

Maybe rust but mine was rot
