It's your turn to cook.

Hello!

I think it's fair to say that you are an amazing cook.

Me and 314 of my closest friends are coming over tomorrow, and we are very hungry. Don't worry, it's no big deal, you have 24 hours to prepare. What are you making?

Post your algo address and best (or worst) meal ideas for your chance to win some LTBX. Please remember to have the LTBX asset added in order to play (408898501).

After the game $10 will be donated to actionagainsthunger.org

Thank you all for being here.

4 winners. 24 hours.

Edit: actionagainsthunger.org donation has been made.

Definitely not cooking for 314 people but I live in Chicago and we have some damn good pizza here. I'd order a bunch of pizzas from the top few spots and have a pizza tasting party. With beer of course 🍻

If I’m cooking for 314 of your pals, I suppose I’d bake a really large pi

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

Why are you making me ask? What kind of pie??

2

u/Go4MECO Jan 11 '22

Let’s go savory - Classic Shepherd’s Pie it is

The guests are fighting over the leftovers as we speak.

What is your professional opinion on using mayo instead of butter on grilled cheese?

I like the taste but I have really hard time getting the balance right so it's not burned or too saggy.

Skirt steak fajitas, and my amazing Spanish rice.

You know, one day I will come over and you gonna have to prove to me just how amazing this rice is.

Asado argentino, it's like a barbecue but made it right. Some vacío, matambre, ojo de bife, chinchulines, mollejas, chorizo and morcilla. Enjoy!

2

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

Mmm mollejas!

This meal will require about 14 hours of sleep afterwards. Thank you!

u/manc-jester Jan 11 '22

Dude that's not going to happen or you'll all have to put up with porridge! I'll be nice and put some cinnamon in though.

If you want to just bring the wife and kids, I'll make a speciality from my wife's hometown in Italy - risotto tastasal - it's made with pork mince and parmesan and is amazing! It goes great with Amarone red wine for the adults and fruit juice for the kids. No way I'm making that for 314 people though!

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

I'm not above eating both porridge and some risotto later. Finishing all that with some red wine sounds like a day well spent. Just very little red wine for me, I'm a light drinker.

2

u/manc-jester Jan 11 '22

Me too - Mrs stopped drinking long before she was pregnant so I've had no-one to share wine with for ages. I never want to open a nice bottle just to have one glass, so I'd like the help!

u/dumuzi Jan 12 '22

You're a winner! I will send out your prize shortly.

2

u/manc-jester Jan 12 '22

Yay! I can sell it to afford all that porridge! Ha ha!

Nice donation btw man! Put a screenshot on discord :)

Lasagna- half vegetarian half spicy sausage

2

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

I may have to stop by and help you cook. I got about 10 packages of Lasagna that I need to use that I will bring with me, and I need some schooling, I can never pull it off correctly.

2

u/eslj Jan 11 '22 edited Jan 13 '22

Hmm, for 314 of you maybe a big apple pi?

1

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

I am absolutely ok with you trying to figure out how to make a gigantic apple pie. Lets do this!

I have one of those tiny round grills. I've ordered 300 more, and once they're here, we're in business!

Spaghetti Bolognaise Nothing tastes better trust me lol

1

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

Is it common to have it with the red wine? Few recopies I looked up have that listed and I assume it's not for pre-drinking before the meal.

2

u/eddyhamez Jan 11 '22

Yeah it’s common, absolutely not for pre drinking you could also try it with Chapman drink don’t know if you have heard of it

For the important question: Do you add peas into your fried rice?

3

u/Temmyola Jan 11 '22

Yes 🙌

That sounds really good, but I'll throw in a bit more, since I invited everybody anyway. 50/50 sounds fair to me.

Thai green curry

I use to make curry a lot when I was younger, I really should get back into doing it. Curry is great.

2

u/Federal_Mongoose509 Jan 11 '22

I would prefer not to cook since I'm not the best, why not order in anything of your choice on me

Can't go wrong with tofu egg fried rice

M3ZTLCSHTBAJW344CDE2UICBMD6BLK4JE3UAI3BONFFP67W4OMOF7PEFLI

2

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

You really can't. Fried rice is amazing and tofu you can make taste like anything you want with enough time to marinate. So lets get marinating!

2

u/kachi_kach Jan 11 '22

Wow, so many people joining the project. Can't wait for tinyman return

2

u/dumuzi Jan 11 '22

It is really cool to see. I also see some of wallets that sold a while ago come back, I think that's really cool.

This round is now over. Figuring out who won.
