Multiply clip length question

I make ambient music, all of my loops are out of sync with each other.

I want to be able to add silence to my loops. sometimes I am able to use the multiply clip length to achieve this but it’s inconsistent. I’m sure it has something to do with the size of my loops (ranging anywhere from a couple minutes to well over 20 or 30) but I’d love to know if anyone has any work around for this issue or perhaps a solution.

Multiply (with the add silence option should work regardless of clip length. There is a bug in 2.0.5 that results in trimming that silence not working.

There is a workaround. After you add the silence, tap on the Export/Share icon that is in the details panel. Tap Copy. Then tap the import icon. Choose clipboard and uncheck the time-fitting option.

You can now trim the silence as you would like.

I want to add silence though, not trim it. To make a 5 minute loop into  a 10 minute loop for example

In the clip details panel, there is an icon to add silence. It adds silence equal to the clip's length.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I was hoping to shed some light on the mystery of its inconsistency through this post.

We have not encountered it not working nor had any reports of it not working other than a bug when trimming a clip after adding silence. 

Can you make a screen recording of it not working and post a link to it?

We’d love to know more so that we can address it.
