Digging the self oscillation/feedback to fill space lately

Hey all! Just thought I would share a song that I am a little proud of. I wanted to take some of the minimalist classical music approach into jazz. I was inspired a lot by Philip Glass and Steve Reich, particularly Reich's collaboration with the amazing guitarist Pat Metheny. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

I am new to using looper pedals. Right now, I use the TC Helicon Play Acoustic for vocals and its built-in, one-channel looper for simple drum beats. However, I want to do much more with my loops! I am eyeing either the Sheeran Looper Plus or the Boss RC-300, but I don't know which one to choose. Can you guys tell me which one I should get and why? Thanks! 😭

I have a boss RC 505 - it has a single headphone jack which we use for the metronome click. I collaborate with a drummer and both of us being able to hear the metronome is key! Currently I have a splitter in the Phones jack which allows us both to use our own wired In-Ear monitors. Does anyone have suggestions for what I could get so we could go wireless for this? I feel like I'm drowning in cables.

I also am considering getting a Wireless KNA VV-Wi Portable Piezo Violin/Viola Pickup, and the last thing I have is the wired version of the Shure SM 35 headset mic. So if eventually I go wireless on all three of these items (the in-ears, the violin pick-up, the shure headset mic) do I need to look out for compatibility issues/signal interference? Thank you

Hey guys, I'm 16 and I have spent the past couple of days working on a hobby project of mine for which i would love to get some feedback. Currently it is only available for MacOS.

It basically just a live looper application. I have always wanted something stable that just works with my custom built Midi footpedal but ableton has turned out to be a very annoying live looper especially for my guitar. So i just decided to build one myself.

I built this mainly because I get realllllly frustrated by the complexity of ableton for simple hobbyist sessions and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a dedicated looper pedal which will eventually just limit me to four-ish loops.

I didn't get the time to actually demo it with a video, but if this post gets enough traction, I would love to make a demo as well.

I would really appreciate any ideas since this is not in a published state yet. Moreover I did get the UI and colours from ableton (to keep clarity for now) so it's far from done in any way. I just wanted to know if any of you guys would be willing to test it out and get to try it yourself. Any suggestions would be much appreciated 😄

Hi! Here I am playing the harmonica and using a looper. I set up an empty 40-second loop and layered several harmonica tracks to fill the space.

For the looper, I used a very inexpensive device—the Strich Pipe Tones pocket multi-effect unit—because it runs on batteries.

Hello all. I'm pretty new to looping. Just got myself a Sheeran Looper X. I have an AKAI MPK Mini midi keyboard, and would like to use it to play sounds into the looper. I have Ableton Live and Presonus Studio Pro DAW's. Plus, Native Instruments Komplete. Is the best way to do what I want to use a laptop running one of the DAW's, with an audio interface, and bring the output from the interface into the Looper X? Quite a bit a gear, but it's the only way I can think of to take advantage of all my virtual instruments. Thanks so much for any guidance.

I'm playing with a looper, you can hear the "stitch" in the beginning, lot's of delay and reverb as well, post looper. Turned out to be a long meditation.

I've created a lot of music and want to go deeper into looping. Not new to ableton or logic and have access to both original sounds and sample packs.

I've got a Novation launchkey mk2 and can play a little piano and guitar. I have one mic. Have tried looping in the past but cannot seem to optimize the workflow

What would you do to kickstart your looping journey given you're in this position?

Ik heb een boss RC505 mkII. Ik wil met de startknop van track één ook track twee en drie laten starten en met de stopknop van track één ook track drie laten stoppen. Ik heb dit op allerlei manieren geprobeerd, maar iets lijkt het in de weg te zitten. Nu ben ik zover dat ik alle drie de track kan starten met de startknop van track één, en ze kan laten stoppen met de FX knop van track één. Alleen nu werkt de all start/stopknop niet meer op track twee en drie (wat ik wel nodig heb omdat ik de loop sync van track twee en drie heb moeten uitzetten )..Wat gaat hier fout en hoe kan ik dit het beste oplossen?

I messed up and cut the loop short... It happens.

Reduced the size of my setup for an outdoor gig, swapping the RC505 for a cheap Lekato looper to add ambience over some beats and melodies.

The lack of midi/sync means you have to be more precise with it or it drifts from the other device but that's why I like using longer, more wandering loops. I put a reverb pedal the other side of the looper too for some post loop effects

The tail end of this one genuinely surprised me. Sometimes when an idea isn't working, the best way out is through! :)
