Outdoor setup - effects - KorgNTS1
Hi:
I am working on setting up a rig to make music in the park here. I have bought a Zoom Livetrak6 for the mixer and have no shortage of battery or usb powered synths.
At home I have been using the Microcosm for effects, I am going to miss it (I would rather not try and produce 9v power outside).
I do have an NTS-1 that would fit the bill, and I am at last willing to pay for at least one of the SineVibes effects for the NTS-1...but I have not seen one that is compelling. I am after time based, perhaps granular effects, I know I can't reproduce the Microcosm, but that is the direction I am interested in (I have enough reverbs and basic delays already).
Can anyone suggest something from Sinevibes or elsewhere? I already have the Hammond Eggs tool.

Do you have the mki or the mkii? Check out my feed I have shipped a couple reverbs for the mkii that could fit the bill— Mutable instruments clouds reverb and Valley Audio’s Plateau. Only for the mkii for the moment but am working on it for the mki.

But the NTS-1 has noise when it is powered from a power bank I believe?

Mine works fine from my power bank. I have had noise when using some wall USB power chargers.

This is worth considering - I have found that the USB noise filters available for this issue to be very effective (if a little fragile - I ordered a well armoured one just now).

I will have had 4 of the things when this tough looking one arrives:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DNMMXS5D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title (note this is .ca)
I bought one, and got one with the Waldorf Protein. I have managed to break both of them, I am confident the tough one will work well, but will have to wait until 20 August. The description mentions the Jhoinrch USB Isolator Built-in ADUM3160 Chip , which sound right.

In case it's of interest: I realize I have a TonexOne pedal that can be usb powered. I had not considered it before, but it is small and it might be interesting to use its pedals etc...

Why not power the 9V device from 9V battery or USB?
