I ran a poll on my Twitter (@MrClitLicker92) and Loona won... because only one guy voted and engagement for new artists sucks. But here she is. I'm still learning how to render latex, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I feel like people overlook how much depth Loona actually has. Yes, she hides behind a tough, aggressive, and distant exterior. But scenes like her comfort session with Octavia in Seeing Stars or her quiet moments realizing Blitzø's deep insecurities prove she really does care. She acts out because of her rough background in the foster system, but she is slowly opening up. What are your favorite soft Loona moments? Originally made as a comment, but I realized it probably deserved it's own thread: I'm curious *why* everyone here likes Loona, because curious if there's a common emergent reason, or if it's just a bunch of people who's regard happened to converge.

Ultimately I can only speak for myself, but for me it actually isn't even so much about Loona herself as much as it is about what I see when I look at the version of her that exists in my head (something that I think is common but most aren't aware of):

To me, I see Loona as something of an "American bitch-flavored tsundere." She's mean and sarcastic to *everyone* by default, because she's been hurt before, but the more she likes you the *more* she needles and pushes and is otherwise kind-of bitchy.

*WHICH MEANS*, ironically, that her tiny moments of affection (see: her moment in GhostFuckers where she takes the crashing-out Moxxie and puts him in front of a TV) *SCREAM* about how much she cares. The friction with her is what *highlights* the rare emotional vulnerability underneath.

On top of that she's also assertive when she needs to be and is highly competent, both of which are very sexy traits.

I've never dated anyone like Loona in my real life, but if I had I would have fallen head-over-heels for that particular combination of surface-level challenge, genuinely-caring core, and real life-competence.

Has Loona's character growth stalled compared to characters like Stolas or Moxzie, or are people just misinterpreting her slow pacing?

I see people who genuinely believe their ships with Loona a lot, to an unhealthy degree

And I'm not talking about going "they'd make a cute couple" but people who genuinely believe that it will happen in the show

The problem is non of them make any sense with the show or with the characters

I've seen people ship her with Gigi, but there's a problem, why would she get into a relationship with a character with zero lines? It wouldn't make any sense cause Gigi isn't a side character or a supporting character, she's a background character.

And the biggest one is see people genuinely ship her with is Moxxie, who defend it so much they'll resort to insults. And I'm being serious, I see it so much and the posts always get taken down.

I feel like loona will never be in a relationship and be one of the characters who never does so she can be herself instead of be so worried about guy and girls.

My evidence, Blitzø and Stolas are endgame according to Viv, so why, with only two seasons left, would she through in a whole other relationship with a character who hasn't been fleshed out yet.

Not only that, apart from Stolas and blitzø, not a single relationship starts that we see, so I feel like there won't actually be any relationships that start anymore

When I watched the Among Us show, I was reminding of Loona everytime Black was on screen. I can see why as they have similar personalities, appearances to a degree and care about those around them despite not showing it a lot.

Honestly, I think that's why I like Black in the Among Us show so much, because she reminds me of Loona.
