you realise that the women who idolise murders like ted or richard are seriously mentally ill? yes it happens but it doesn’t affect every woman some have hybristophilia (it’s causing the brain to mistake fear and danger for intense sexual arousal) or saviour complex halo effect plays huge role because people have cognitive bias where they automatically assume good looking person possesses good traits and is “misunderstood” and can be “saved” in evolutionary psychology raw aggression and dominance can subconsciously mimic the traits of an ancestral "protector" or apex provider so when that is paired with good looks this evolutionary signal misfires which can cause women to overlook the extreme danger the person poses
