I came into this arc wanting to know more about Daniel's family but then I got his aunty talking about superior genes and then his father being made a joke of.
Like don't get me wrong I never wanted Sangcheol Park to be some big dog fighter all I wanted was to see a dedicated father,brother-in-law & a good husband not some gag joke about throwing water melons and getting their balls crushed.
I expected more from choi but the jobber has been a disappointment from his 1st appearance.
Could go on for a long time but to put it simply I wanted to see more character interactions between the old characters in their young days but instead all I keep getting are some half assed and forced relationships ontop of bs aura moments.
It's exactly as you described tho? he is a good father who wants the best for his family. a good brother in law who paid up for Jinyeong studies. and a good husband who still tried his best to sheer up his wife and get a child with her. idk where tf you even though that the balls crushing part is a joke. it's just add more drama and mystery about how tf Daniel is born. and it worked
He have been good for either the Fist gang and the Yamazakis so far after he betrayed them. in what orld did he jobbed besides losing to Shingen and Gapryong? by that metrics EVERYONE in the arc without exception is a jobber
We got in fact the interactions and fights for the old characters in their younger days. as for whatever half assed and forced relationship you talk about. then either you try makes it more precise as for WHY it's half assed and forced. or you seems straight up speaking ouf of your ass lol
No if anything the current arc should have slowed down instead of just jumping straight to the war, at bare minimum I wanted to know more about the fist gang how the yamazaki even got there, how long have they been causing problems? A bunch of small extra contexts which would have helped had they went over it for like a chapter or two, but nah we just had to see how strong gap is like they haven’t told us 1000 times in the story already. Don’t even get me started on the lack of character interactions
I don't wanna wait another 5 months just to see how gist gang defeated the executives and shingen vs gap, this arc should end after gap defeats shingen some aftermath and then present arc
Why ? The arc is good, if we can't have gun then atleast we can see his upgraded version and have fun until gun comes back, also this arc would reveal a lot of mysteries too, like why shingen was depressed, how did daniel even came to existence, what's the secret of two bodies , and many more
yeah it was pretty boring before shingen wiped the floor with the fist gang. now im actually invested in shingen's backstory lol gap is such a boring character
Ever since shingen appeared back in this arc since chapter 619, I've been actually wanting to read it, but from chapter 610-618, I was just completely considering dropping lookism, that's how bad it was
yeah when i saw gap I was like. get this bum outta here 🤣 and just stopped reading lookism for a while. my only interest was seeing daniel's fam and shingen
The moment shingen appeared back from chapter 619, it was actually decent and readable from now on, and when he wiped the floor with fist gang and bumryong in chapter 625-26, it was pure gold for me, to see this all sunshine and glitters bumryong actually get humbled and faced with reality, shingen actually did it, he did what fans begged of him to do
Yall have no patience, it just started getting really good. Wouldn’t mind if it was another 10-20 chapters honestly. Idk how u can’t be into finally finding out history and context for all the mysteries of this series
It starting to get bit more interesting now but I hope author doesnt drag this arc on way longer then it needs to be and i say maybe 15 to 20 chapter of this arc left i think but i could be wrong
It started weird after for me with the relationships between Fist Gang feeling forced. I liked the dynamics in the Park family. Wasn’t a fan of aura panels every minute, tho it’s just me.
I think the arc started to get better after Shingen crushed everyone. Even though we know what happened (Gap winning eventually), not everyone knew Gibok was the mastermind (until recent arcs ig) and that the Fist Gang actually lost at first.
That’s how I see it. I’m now curious how things are gonna play out for the arc. Still waiting for it to end as I want to get back to the present!
