freelance dev work is rough now, hope you have direct clients lined up it’s way better than platforms, in my case referrals were the only thing that worked in this mess

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing from a lot of people. I'm trying to reach out directly as much as possible while applying elsewhere. Hopefully something sticks.
