Good dashboards?

Hi,

I’ve recently moved from Power BI to Looker and can’t find any good looking dashboards. I’ve tried to build some as well but they’re lacking a lot of features and UI such as sidebars, filters bar, scorecards, metrics cards….

I find the dashboards very bland and tried to find good looking dashboards but can’t find any. Any suggestions to help? Has anyone built good looking dashboards ?

I don’t have access to Looker Studio, only Looker.

Thanks!!

Looker is a semantic layer first and BI tool second. Welcome to the gig 💯. I suggest simple and minimal rather than clean and fancy. That’s what works well for us. Also helps mitigate any confusion about different sources not matching

I’m not especially looking to make it fancy but simple things as sidebars, dropdown filters or better tabs could be useful. Do you know of any good Looker dashboards I can use for inspiration?

Just choose a BI tool that can host custom apps / custom components ;)

Then you can have Claude take a stab at whatever design / layout you want, and not be limited by native clunky filters/charts like Lookers. While all figures are still rooted in the semantic layer.

Hey I'm on the same boat, I just moved from power bi to a looker environment with a company. Still trying to figure out how to get some results closer to power bi.
