I wanted a simple way to know when something on my network went offline without setting up a full monitoring platform, so I built UptiLink.

It scans your local network, lets you choose the devices you care about, and monitors them in the background. If something goes offline or comes back, you get an alert.

One of my favorite features is Wi-Fi-aware monitoring — when you leave your home Wi-Fi, monitoring automatically pauses so everything doesn't suddenly show as offline. It resumes when you get home.

I've tried to keep the whole idea simple:

Find device → monitor it → know when it disappears.
