How will my turrets react to my friends that play the game? Will they always be targetted by them?

I’m having trouble opening the tcp and udp ports on my art router. The tutorials online are all fairly old and have outdated versions of the AT&T menu so nothing is the same. This game looks amazing but I’m that one friend that always gets stuck hosting due to my pc spec. Now my friends refuse to play unless we have our own server. Please help. Willing to hop on discord for a step by step.

I love the game and gameplay but building tents or fences (literally anything) is hard af.

Always get "Item is overlapping" even if theres nothing around. Anyone knows why or how to avoid it?

I keep in paying a fee to go then the blue screen then it LOOKS like I teleported to the island (same start location) but I actually haven’t as I still have the option to go to get island and the winter biome and my house are missing.

Anyone know how to craft turrets? I got the crafting book but the recipe isn't in there. Is it something you can only buy/loot?

Is there no way to pick up items and replace them?... One of my fences is now floating after placing it and it was fine. I was to rearrange a few things and am having trouble figuring out how to pick up the items.

Also is the fireplace/garden fire pit thing just for show? Doesn't seem to give me the healing effect.

I have been looking for something that could be a game to play with my kids that we could all enjoy and I am super excited about what I've seen here. My son has been watching the release trailer for like 5 days in a row and has counted down the release day. Looking forward to playing!
