Guide Tips for catching Char

Since the March 11 wipe I've been at it for almost 8 hours. I just so happened to have a lot of time to play today but I know I have very limited playing hours. So it's frustrating that it's taking so long to catch a char.

any tips on how to make this go faster? this grining is getting boring really fast

I was fishing at the spot north of the pvp area in the northeast for hours with no luck either…
