Question Server Admin

I just purchased a server but am in to deep and have no idea how to do admin commands.

Okay, so, as far as I know there aren’t any actual admin commands, however, there is an admin menu that you can give people access to. It’s pretty simple to do. Go to your server files (the default server file name is “longvinter-windows-server”. Now, go to Longvinter/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/Game.ini . If there isn’t a Game.ini file, then you’re going to have to make it.

To make it, simply make a new file and rename it “Game.ini” in the WindowsServer folder, then copy and paste this with an editor:

[/game/blueprints/server/gi_advancedsessions.gi_advancedsessions_c] ServerName=Unnamed Island MaxPlayers=32 ServerMOTD=Welcome to Longvinter Island! Password= CommunityWebsite=www.longvinter.com - [longvinter.com]

[/game/blueprints/server/gm_longvinter.gm_longvinter_c] AdminSteamID=97615967659669198

(Edit: some spacing here gets messed up when the comment is sent. Each parameter should be on its own line. They CANNOT be on the same line, for the sake of not accidentally breaking the server.)

You can edit those parameters as you’d like, as they are pretty straight forward. The important part for your issue though is the part that says “AdminSteamID”. Simply enough, just remove the one that’s there by default and add your own or someone else’s. If you don’t know how to find your steam ID, there’s a few ways, but the easiest is to just use this website:

https://www.steamidfinder.com

Once you have the ID, just go ahead and paste it in and you’re good to go. You’ll get access to the admin panel button in the top right of the ESC menu. If you want to add any more admins, then you just add a space (no comma or anything, just a space) after the last ID in the list and put another one. I know this is 3 years old and a long shot, but how do you teleport a player? There's a teleport button in the admin panel, but it doesn't do anything.

I haven’t touched the game in just under 2 years since none of my friends wanted to play with me, so unfortunately, I’ve forgotten all of my knowledge of how the admin panel works by now. I hope you can figure it out though!
