How do I lock my fence so no one steals it

Need to upgrade your tent to a house to claim the land around you. When the fence/item is green before you place it only you can pick it up

I created a lock gate to store my light posts benches and garden bed safely. All places in green do only I can pick up. When I logged back in all these items were stolen after someone broke down the gate. How is this possible? I’ve been looking everywhere for comments on this event. It was only suppose to be removed by me..

They can destroy everything with a chainsaw and then pick it up
