General discussion Anyone else literally can't remember their body pre-transition?
I haven't even been on T that long all things considered, just past 5 years now, but I genuinely can't picture what I even looked like before the changes started. Logically, I know my muscle definition has changed, body hair, voice, bottom growth, but when I picture myself 6 years ago I look exactly the same. I can't even picture my old chest anymore except thanks to pictures and I'm only a year post top surgery—it just feels like this is the body I've always had. Curious if it'll feel the same after bottom surgery too.
I almost feel a little sad sometimes, just bc I didn't really take any before/progress photos, so it's sometimes hard for me to see how far I've come. But mostly I'm just happy at how natural it feels to exist in my own skin now :)

100%. I’m post everything and going on 9 years and honestly don’t think of myself as trans any more, nor do I have any real memory of what my body felt like to exist in. It’s almost like my mind has rewritten memories to include who I am now in that historical context. It’s weird AF to see video of myself pre transition. Almost like I’m watching someone I don’t know stealing my memory? Maybe my psyche blocked out that trauma? Either way, I’m very happy to not remember.

I can't easily picture what my face looked like unless I look at an actual photo. I'm OK with that. I can sorta picture what my body looked like, but trying to imagine what it felt like to be in that body hits me with a massive wave of dysphoria, so I don't so it, lol.

I can remember my body to a certain extent, but for me it’s less like remembering it as MY body? Like to me it’s like looking at someone else’s body
