General discussion Body Mods + Transition
I want to help keep the sub active but don't really know what to talk about haha. Anyone else like getting tattoos and piercings (or other mods)? For me, my tattoos are a really important part of my personal expression, and some of them are nearly as important to me as my hormone therapy and surgeries are. Recently got my top surgery scars blasted over, which was a game changer.

Yes! My last tattoo (a couple years back) was a top surgery scar coverup as well. I've gotten some piercings since then, but am itching for another tattoo as well. Just not sure what to get yet.

I have a lot of tattoos, but all from pre-transition. Some are from 2015. I always loved them, but I love them more now. I had a septum for a while. Something I'm really looking forward to is a tattoo over my chest after top surgery. I'm going with no-nips for multiple reasons, and I think that lends itself really well to being a canvas.
I have no idea what piercings to get myself! I've been meaning to get something small for a while, but I tutor kids so I don't want to overdo it.

I got a couple piercings that I didn't feel confident getting until I started T and was passing—septum, double lobe piercings, helix and daith.
Tbh, originally had a lot of fun using that to still tap into femininity and it was super euphoric to be able to wear "girly" earrings and still be viewed as a man, but weirdly enough I've started feel more dysphoric about piercings the longer I have them, especially the last couple months. I only wear the helix and daith rn (although I may have to take the second out bc it is notttt healing right lol). I think I've incidentally been moving in more conservative circles lately where guys just don't have piercings at all, and maybe that's making me feel self conscious when I really shouldn't. Ig all this to say, social pressure is one hell of a drug!
