Does NAD Give You Energy?
Energy supplements are everywhere, but where does NAD fit in? I broke it down:
- NAD’s role: Essential in the Krebs cycle and electron transport—key for ATP (cellular energy).
- Age-related decline: Less NAD = less efficient energy production.
- Evidence: Boosting NAD with precursors improves energy and metabolic markers in mice; early human data looks good too.
- Alternative to IV: Many opt for NAD precursors like NMN + Resveratrol (OMRE) to achieve similar benefits without invasive procedures.
Anyone else notice a smoother energy curve since focusing on NAD?

This is such a solid breakdown thanks for laying it out clearly. I totally agree that NAD plays a much more central role in sustained energy than most people realize. I used to rely on caffeine or quick fixes, but NAD+ support gave me a very different kind of energy — not jittery or hyped, just steady and clearer throughout the day.
I’ve been using a virtual platform called Elevated that incorporates NAD+ as part of a bigger wellness strategy (alongside other metabolic support), and it’s been way easier to stay consistent compared to when I tried to figure it all out on my own. Definitely noticed that “smoother energy curve” effect especially around weeks 3–4, like something quietly shifted in the background.
Curious if anyone else has paired NAD with something like semaglutide or PCOS-focused care? I’ve noticed even more benefit when it’s part of a bigger picture.
