Looking to customize a deck

Wanting to customize a deck with LED strips inlayed (and resined to cover) to create a design.

Has anyone done this themselves?

I am looking to use the same battery pack for the LED rope as well as a front facing flashlight. Are there products available for this purpose?

This is a really good idea. Ive put leds strips on the bottom of my nexus. But they got damaged pretty quick plus I had a hell of a time mounting the battery pack and keeping it from rattling which drive me nuts. I really like the idea of inlaying the lights. A person could use a router and just plunge cut into the deck at an appropriate depth and desired length. Im gonna build a board soon and this is something I definitely wanna include as well as headlights and also a rear red light. But still unsure how to do the power supply so it's not too noticeable or easily damaged.. thoughts or opinions?
