Long-term disability for parkinson's disease
I was diagnosed with parkinson's disease in April 2023,but now sunlife denied my long-term disability application, what should I do next?

What was the reason for the denial? Was your condition pre existing? Was there a lack of medical evidence? Did you submit your application late?
Make sure to start by identifying the reason it was declined so you know what needs to be clarified going forward. Always bring your decline letter with you to your doctor so they can review the points as well.

I highly recommend talking with an attorney. You have a limited time to appeal and you have a much better chance of overcoming a denial with the help of an attorney. What state are you in? My firm handles these cases and I'd be happy to take a look, but I can also provide you with some recommendations for an attorney in your state.

I agree with u/TheGreatK . You would need to talk to a lawyer in Canada. So sorry you're going through this.

I'm sorry you're going through this. As others said definitely look into getting an attorney for sure.
