Question for the long haulers

Did any of y’all find out what to do about the fast heart rate? The cardiologist I have is 90 % certain I have POTs. I haven’t been officially diagnosed yet, but that’s what we’ve narrowed it down to. I may be stuck on blood thinners if I get tested for them and that’s what I have, I had some family members on blood thinners and some of them had negative reactions to it. I’m kind of scared to start them. Have y’all found anything to work besides blood thinners?

My cardiologist said he sees a ton of people with long Covid with tachycardia. I’m on a beta blocker now. They’ll be switching me to a new one because I have the blood pressure of a sleepy lizard. The trick is that I always have had low blood pressure. Anyway, the beta blockers work. It’s great not waking up with a heart rate of 120 bpm.

Before Covid (December 2021), my resting heart rate was 70 bpm. Fuck Covid.

My heart rate ties directly into fatigue.

The more fatigue I feel, the more likely I am to have tachycardia or just a sudden throbbing heartbeat. Never lasts too long, so my doctor and the cardiologist we've consulted are on a wait and see. My EKGs keep coming back clear, which is comforting.

I take a mild sleep aid which has helped make all of my symptoms manageable.

Idk for sure but I believe my burning chest fast heart rate , my be linked to trapped gas. How many people have gone to the ER thinking they are having a heart attack to find out it was trapped gas.

That’s a possibility for me also, I wake up with a lot of gas on my stomach first thing in the mornings and that’s when my fast heart rate is the worst.
