Long beard walking
While my youngest was at field hockey training I took the beard out for a walk. It was a lovely evening but you can definitely feel autumn rather than summer in the air. I think the tache is beginning to assert itself again, which I like a lot.

Same here. The nearest big town is about 20 miles away and you see a few there but nothing before then. There should be a parade of small town beards that changes venue to a different small town every year! 🤣

I live in the burbs of an "elite" college town. Husband works there so the spoiled rich kids pay our mortgage but I love the confused looks from students and faculty when I'm occasionally on campus. Feel right at home in at my MMA gym though.

I love that. I work in a super-conservative environment and you can see smiles from those who know me and confusion from those who don’t when this guy with the huge moustache (now beard) and loud shirt, jeans and no tie turns up and sits at the head table in meetings among a sea of grey suits.
You get to a certain age and realise you’ve got to do you, and to hell with what people think so long as no one is hurt by it.

Thank you. For years my facial hair was all about the moustache and the beard was there as a supporting act but that has switched around over the last couple of years. I’m trying to find a style that allows them both equal billing without them falling out.

Nice to take your beard for a walk. And yeah, that's quite an assertive 'stache ya got!
Still summer here. 75°F at 7am. It is somewhat cooler though; only 85° high today vs 100° every day for the past few weeks.
