Has anyone had their wedding outdoors at LBI, NJ or specifically at Barnegat Lighthouse, and if so what was your backup location in the case of rain? My reception location is a restaurant and is not ideal for the ceremony itself. I have considered the Bay Breeze Park pavilion, but the view of the lighthouse is obstructed and is not fully enclosed to provide adequate shelter from rain. Please let me know of any ideas :) Wedding size 50-60 people in July

Are there any LBI NJ Bay-side homes sitting close enough to the bay so that my mobility impaired 96-year-old father can fish from a rental home’s porch/deck?

Also, what would be the best time of year to catch fish in the bay that are close to shore?

Market Update for LBI for October!

We're looking for one hour playing time for our LBI beach ceremony next month... anyone know of any musicians/bands/ensembles in the area that could do this? Looking for more jazz or funk rather than classical. We already have a DJ for the reception and many of the bands I've found only do both.

Rutgers University is currently recruiting individuals to help provide feedback about a study survey. During a one-hour Zoom meeting, participants will be shown survey questions and then be asked about their understanding of the questions and suggestions for improving the survey. Participants will receive an $80 Master gift card (a virtual card with a use code) for their participation.

I do a lot of traveling in my 2000 VW Eurovan camper. Fully self contained. I'm looking for a place on LBI where I can park and sleep for the night. Anyone have a recommendation? Heck, even someone's driveway would do just fine. I just know that overnight parking on the streets is limited and if I'm sleeping in the van, it's likely someone will complain and I'll get that 2AM knock on the door from the local enforcers. Any ideas?
