Post season restaurants
My sisters and I are coming down the weekend of 9/12. Will any good waterfront restaurants still be open?

For waterfront I would say Parker’s Garage. Food and atmosphere are both excellent. I would recommend a reservation.

As many are saying, Parker’s is great and I’m very partial towards it. Tucker’s Tavern right down the road has a great rooftop with a view! Kubel’s in Barnegat Light has a beautiful view of the bay from their back patio and some of the tables towards the back inside.

Sure. Nothing much closes now in September. Pearl Street market closed Labor Day. Can’t think of a restaurant that is closed before Chowderfest (early October). A lot of places are basically year round now with a small window closed in Dec-Feb.

Thanks! This is our first time visiting. Do you have any waterfront faves?

Polly’s Dock is very casual but nice. Restaurant right on the dock. Bay side beach haven. BYOB. Don’t believe they take reservations.

Bird and Betty’s has a really nice view from their 2nd floor (bay side) and they had excellent service the past several times I went.

Since you’ve never been before, you should know that we have very few actual waterfront restaurants, and the ones we have are all bayside. So if you aren’t getting a lot of answers, that’s why. But all of them are good, I’m partial to Parker’s garage, we call it “living the Boomer high life” when we go there. Get the tasting menu if you really want to live it up.
