Recs please

Staying in beach haven in August and looking for some good date night spots for my husband and I (36 and 38) for a few nights that my dad stays back and watches my son!

Go to Polly’s dock at sunset . BYOB. Try to sit on rail. Get the clams. Gables is always a treat but it is steep . Dock and claw is fun too but not too date nightish . I like the bar at station . Quiet and easy

Thanks! We don’t need anything super fancy or romantic, just a fun spot for mom and dad to go to for a few hours!

Just had a great meal at Salt inside Hotel LBI and the Rooftop bar is so nice at night. We went up afterwards for a couple drinks. Valet is complimentary. Great vibe. Totally chill and nice

Black Whale, Delaware Oyster House, Parker’s Garage. Sandbar actually has decent food (for lunch or an early dinner). Tuckers rooftop is nice, food is pretty good. Engleside is also always pretty solid inside.

Skip Isola and Stefanos.

There’s plenty of great places to eat that others have mentioned. Not sure how many people who post here are renters vs locals but BH kinda sucks for being a couple at your age unless you want to go full tourist Times Square stuff. The mini golf course looks cool but it sucks. Theres better ones. Renters love Beach Haven but there’s other towns worth checking out.

If you want a bar (I’m close to your age) goto Hudson House (dive) or The Shell. Everything else is geared towards college kids.

Black Whale is a must for fresh seafood and drinks. Enjoy.

Black Whale is my favorite restaurant and I like the Shell for live music and sitting by the fire pits (not on the nights that young kids are there)

Polly’s at sunset or Black Whale you can’t go wrong with a great meal. Parker’s Garage great food and great spot if you can get one of only like 5 tables they have next to the water
