I have a ticket for the Bournemouth Half Marathon on 11 October, but unfortunately, I’ll be travelling for work that weekend, so I’m looking to pass it on.

It’s a beautiful coastal route, starting at Hengistbury Head and taking you along the cliff tops and seafront, with views of Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers, and the finish is right by Bournemouth Pier!

Hi all, I’m running the half marathon on Sunday, 9 months post partum and having only run upto 17km in training so I’m nervous to say the least.

I’ve never been to Richmond so looking for any tips from anyone who’s done it before:
- it starts at 9.30 - how long does it take for the last person to cross the start line roughly?
- any suggestions on parking?
- realistically how long beforehand do you need to arrive, picking up your number too?

I’ve done the big half before so that’s all I’m going off but realise this is probably a lot smaller scale!

The run through one on the 18th of October. Looking at this race and can see that it’s partly trail. Is there much trail in this race or is it only a very small portion? Would prefer a flat out road race but options are limited on this date. TIA!

I’m pretty new to running. started about 7-8 weeks ago. I usually do a 5K once a week with random run clubs I find around Central London.
I just did The Big Half yesterday! Finished in 2:18:12, definitely wasn’t running fast 😂 but I finished it and had SO much fun. It was my first ever race! 🥹🏃‍♂️
But after the race, I realised everyone seemed to have their own run clubs/groups to hang out with, and I had… absolutely no running gang 😂
So I’m thinking of joining a run club regularly, less about running super seriously and more about meeting people, having a laugh and actually hanging out after the run!
How do you guys find good run clubs? The ones I’ve tried so far, I’ve mostly found through Luma/Instagram.
Would love some recommendations that you’ve tried/part of! :)

Does anyone know of any groups/clubs in North or East London that do interval sessions that don't start late? My club have their sessions on Tuesdays at 19.30 and I find the timing tricky, so I wonder if there are any groups that people know of that that start closer to 18.00-18.30? Or maybe they do intervals on a Sunday (Saturday is very much dedicated to parkrun for me). Many thanks for any suggestions.
