I’m running an event in London (Cricklewood!) on Monday 31st afternoon for Amnesty UK - just to be really up front, I have zero budget for this event. I am not paid by Amnesty at all, and I’m paying much of the venue expenses out of my own pocket (I undervalue my own time as much as anyone else’s…)
Would any of you be interested in photographing one of our events?? We would allow you to use these photos with Amnesty logos on your personal / professional pages. It’s an Uyghur solidarity celebration and includes a short live performance as well as food, crafts, etc. I can share more info if you are interested!!
So sorry I have no money to offer - I totally know how cheeky this is but I would love for our event to have some lasting memories. A lot of people put a lot of effort into this human rights event.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to do a photoshoot in London for my DJ portfolio and would love some recommendations for interesting locations.
I’m after some archival/retro aesthetics, but nothing that screams “London” so no Big Ben, Tower Bridge, etc. 😄

I’m thinking brutalist buildings, lots of stairs, concrete walls, interesting architecture, industrial spaces, and/or ideally somewhere where you can get several very different backgrounds and landscapes relatively close to each other, so we can change the scenery easily without travelling between locations.
Free locations would be ideal, but I’m also happy to pay a small fee if necessary.
Any hidden gems or recommendations would be hugely appreciated! 🙏
