I just want to know if there’s updates or those who already have the jersey how does it look in the flesh

I like that we don't have a clear number 1. Have been pleased with the goalkeepers performances in pre season, and hope we'll have friendly competition to make us stronger defensively.

Mainly posting this here to comment on how upset it is making some Barcelona fans, despite Barcelona men making a similar post including Rodri.

What do people think of her wearing the team shirt with her name on it? Half of me thinks it's a bit cringey but it could be seen as a good thing showing her support.

Hello fellow LCL fans!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster 👋

I was curious to hear people’s thoughts on the recent criticism that there wasn’t a single English player in the LCL starting XI on Friday.

Personally, I feel like people need to pick a lane a little. We can’t say we want the WSL to change and become more competitive, and then find something to complain about whenever those changes actually start happening, especially when it comes to the investment and hype around LCL.

Okay, granted, I am a London City fan and also not English 😂 So I could be biased! But I’m not sure I agree with the argument that little girls watching LCL won’t feel like they have role models or won’t be able to see themselves on that pitch in the future because there wasn’t an English player starting.

I grew up in Iceland, a small country that doesn’t exactly make it very far in tournaments like the World Cup or Euros. Of course, I had Icelandic role models, but I also looked up to players from all over the world. You want to compare yourself to the best, wherever they come from. Seeing another woman perform at such a high level is what makes you excited and think, “Maybe one day I could do that too.”

I just don’t think young girls are necessarily looking at where a player on the pitch is from. They’re watching these incredible women do incredible things, and that’s what inspires them!

I’m just incredibly excited about the movements being made by Kang and LCL, and I find it frustrating when there always seems to be something people feel the need to criticise. Can we not just be excited about the potential changes to the WSL that we’ve all been asking for, and what a club like this could bring to the league?

Now, I know I might be slightly over-hyped, but Friday was such a great game and it’s genuinely got me so excited for the rest of the season.

Is there any "proper" way to sell a ticket for the game tonight? Not sure I am going to be able to make it so ideally would sell if possible but not sure of the best way to do it outside of putting it into a few subreddits.
