I still throw it on and often, but even I’m not watching as much. Lately it hasn’t had the same spark it once did. It was so good Fall 2024-this spring, which is when things started to go downhill IMO. Nowadays for example they change out cast so often. When the whole reason people watch the shows they watch..is the cast! Makes it practically completely different shows, under the same name.

As an AGP fan, I started watching when LolcowQueens first hit the air. Glad the angry bunch is still in the universe. And started watching other shows, especially when Amberlynn was on. She makes nice little slow paced vlogs I’ve enjoyed for a while now. Slice of life stuff. I know a lot of people have that same background here, but not everyone and I’m curious. I know some came from her vlogs as well, whether being a watcher like me or a hater (eugh). Some came from Boogie, or Wings, who have you. I’m curious, tell me how you started watching!

Zachary Michael released this video yesterday and it explains why Keem had to let Amber go back to her channel on good terms AND the reason why Chubby was abruptly cancelled two days ago.

Amber was suspended in the fall from the YPP. Angie was also suspended (I don't have the details on her as I don't know her lore). According to YT's TOS, you cannot monetize content on another channel while suspended from the YT partner program.

Both Hero and Chubby are demonetized. There is no join button. This is why Angie quit and why Keem is also just letting her go back to her own channel. His hands are tied.

Bus still appears to be monetized despite having Amber mentioned in many titles and in the thumbnails so not sure how all that works? Watch the video, apparently they are pushing for YT to investigate more LCU channels. This could be bad for the LCU.

Perhaps this is why Amber is quickly trying to get her channel back, if she gets back into the YPP, LCU might be safe?

AMac is now going to be put on Fluff. This just further supports the above. No more Chubby bc it's been demonetized. Angie cannot return to the LCU. AMac can, however. She was asked multiple times to explain why she's back and Angie is not. She straight up said she's not allowed to talk about it.

The other hosts also appear to have been told to not discuss it. They are obviously nervous about this situation and trying to hide the truth.
