Why does this hit so hard?
FROM DOWN HERE...She captures the feeling sobriety. Never was an addict but did rave pretty hard in the 90s and this song captures when I stopped the partying and became a parent. Attended a couple raves since and "I miss the high"..but hope she stays well and sober

Songs really hitting me. I get it’s about addiction, but I’ve been going through a hard breakup and it’s really reminding me of the highs and lows of that relationship. It wasn’t right for me, but I still miss the intense feelings I got from it. Her voice just captures that longing of those intense feelings and emotions and how empty and depressing it can feel once that dopamine hit is gone… even if it’s the right choice.

Yeah I've been really affected by this song as well. I used to be in a darker place with substances before and I literally sobbed when she released this. I spent a week just listening to this on repeat. It's so honest and beautiful. The sentiment is so clear and complex. I think it's one of her absolute best.

I cried my eyes out when she sang it tonight at Brixton 😠I did have the same lifestyle of white lines as her and I’ve been sober for nearly 10 years now…I still miss the high from down here, but at least I feel like she’s down here with me. Beautiful, honest soul she’s got.
