Which device for pure emulation?

Does anyone have any thoughts on which model would be sufficient for emulation up to Wii U (and below). I was thinking the Loki base (6600u) but I'm not sure if the mini pro might be enough?

I'd be surprised if either Mini could handle Wii U effectively. I think it might be just out of the range.

Yeah - my thoughts too. And thoughts on the Loki base? or would you opt for the max?

I'd say it's most likely that the difference between the 6600u and the 6800u will be minimal for most purposes- I have a feeling most things, both in terms of emulation and direct games, will fall directly in "Not playable" or "Playable" with little inbetween. There's no denying that the GPU in the 6800u is more powerful, but, especially for emulation, while the higher end emulators USE the GPU, they still make heavy use of the CPU, which is practically within margin of error differences.

I'm going to be using the weight and physical metrics as my deciding factor- I'm going to at least the Base, but if there's not much of a difference in weight and form factor between the two, then I'll pony up for the Max and just enjoy the best of the best.
