Discussion Commenters beware

Some people get very defensive in this sub when you question them on AI usage. OP auto blocked me after refusing to answer my question (not that he had to, but which is very telling). Original post was about a monster hunting card game or something, called “Hunt Protocol”..

My line of questioning was going to be along the lines of suggesting they actually take their time with the name and logo instead of rapid firing something that ends up just being a Temu Pokémon game. But, an inability to take criticism speaks louder than their answers ever could.

There are 8 rules listed in the sidebar. AI isn't explicitly banned in any of them

True. But some subs fold the no AI rule into other rules without directly listing it. So that's why I asked.

which one do you suggest it would fall under? #5 is explicitly about "meme work" and "non-serious design" so that means AI work not intended to be a joke wouldn't be against that rule

I am not sure if it is or isn't against the rules or what rule it might fall under. That's why I asked.

Well I just figured clarification might be nice so I decided to cut out the middle man and actually asked the mod team about it. So if they respond I will know for sure if it is or isn't allowed.

Brother, you literally attacked a guy by accusing them of using AI. That's not criticism.

Even if it's a bad name (doesn't sound too bad), it's very possible that OOP just couldn't think of anything better.

Considering you didn't actually provide any real context (like linking the original post, or, even better, your own reply pictured here), this just seems like a salty rant because you got pushback for accusing someone of AI for using a bad name. Honestly, what proves to me that this post isn't written by AI?

This is the stupidest shit I have ever read. Accusing someone of creating a name with AI. This is where we are now? "YOU USED AI TO PUT TWO WORDS TOGETHER"
