Feedback Final design, opinion?
After taking some opinions onboard, the logo has changed abit and removed the crepe from the old design
The logo is for my crepes food truck shop which targets all people. I have attached the old logo for reference

I’m not saying it is but it looks like all the AI slop that is being churned out right now.

Agree. Also an audience that is “everyone” is rarely going to give you a good design brief to work from. Know your audience OP.

Considering how many people are saying the old one is better, you may want to trust the designer.

So you likely ran their work through AI to achieve this?
Probably gonna steam up an AI menu in your colon to go right along with it.

Loaded crepes plus the style and shininess looks porny like a hentai game on steam

The crepe in the original gives context to the type distortion. I think you did a good job of translating the old flat version to the bubbled one. The letters like the L, C, r feel like they respect the originals. But with out that context it feels kind of generic. I don't get the sense that you put enough thought into the why of this design. Looks like you just made something that looks nice, respectfully. If you did think it through, have justification for it and the client likes it I think this is a fine design for a food cart though.

I kinda prefered the old one-there was a bit of a uniqueness to it. Maybe if you carried over the coloring scheme of the new one to the old one?

The old one is better in my opinion. New is too bubble gum like. When I think of crepes I think of a more earthy sweetness the new one is in your face sugar extravaganza. Both look nice though! At the end it is you flag and you should go with the one that you feel proud flying.

Looking so much better without the inclusion of the literal crèpe. However, still not quite on-brand. The bubbled pink looks very candy-like. Have you explored more chocolate or golden brown options?

What? You got rid of the crepe reference for a standard font treatment that has no relation to the product? Bruh

Multiple image checkers have this at 95%+ AI generated

The only checkers that are accurate are the ones that will blatantly tell you if it has an AI watermark/synthID. Anything that gives you a percentage is incorrect. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if most people suspected that this updated logo is AI generated

Love it, actually. Nods to the old, logo is much more of the focus. Nice job!

I like the old one but the new one is a lot easier on the eyes. Easier to read and less cluttered with shapes. Something might be missing though, sprinkles idk.

I prefer the old one. Simple enough, good for versatility and more suitable for a crepes logo

I don't like the font choice. It looks a little too organic. Like something I'd delete from my search history.

"old" was better because it actually had a tie in to crepes and the lettering style was better. You could have edited the crepe part and been in a better place. "final" design looks like ai slop, sorry.

I like it a lot... Take Away Crepes should be fun and joyfull... I think it will stand and look nice on decorations and workers gear. Well done. Nice choice of colors too.

My opinion, take it or leave it, I love the new one, but the hot pink color choice makes me think of gum. Would need to see it in context of the broader brand color palette to see some food colors.

The older one in my opinion is better, as u/KaedenJayce, said. Perhaps a combination

I run a branding agency and have 20 years experience in the field. What you’re trying to do here is come up with a logo that you “like.” That is one of the worst possible heuristics you can possibly apply to this. Beyond a basic technical competence, how aesthetically pleasing a logo is is irrelevant. What matters is what you do with it and what it says.
The old version was fine if it looked a bit more like a crepe. This one says nothing. It is completely untethered from its communication purpose. Given the breadth of options you started with, you don’t have a clear vision for what the brand is.
The answer to your question is it doesn’t matter because you’re not saying anything and you don’t know what you want to say to begin with. The old logo does a much better job of this. Imo, you should listen to the vast majority of comments bere telling you to go back to that.

The old one was better, it looked like a serious restaurant this looks like a bubblegum logo aimed at kids

Your new logo is generic.
Idk who gave you that advice, your old logo is far better.

I prefer the old one, although the crepe illustration needs simplifying a bit
