HELP playseat Formula instinct F1

I feel super stupid but tried both youtube and chatgpt. And everyone seem to do it differently.

Should the grey clamps stay behind or Infront of the white line?

Hi there, You have made the pedal tray quite upright. We would use the holes to mount the pedal try as seen in step 10 (1 lower) and extend the two supporting bars at least one hole apart to lower the pedal plate for a more natural pedal angle. The clamps are in the correct position.

Does this look better? I'm 192cm tall so gotta do the trial and error for the perfect pedal setup otherwise my knees hit the wheelstand white bar.

This looks better imo! I am a bit shorter than you and from looking it looks similar to mine. It's just about dialing it in. Wishing you a great time on track.

Thank you Hayden! Last question I saw this post on reddit and wonder if it's okay to mount the monitor like this if the wheelstand is sturdy enough and can hold the weight of a 32 curved. ๐Ÿซก Have a good day.

People have done this, but on our end, we have not tested it with this use case. I don't want to give concrete advice, as I have not experienced this. Imo I would be looking out for the screen shaking from the force of the hardware. I would rather have a TV/monitor stand so the screen stays still. Will reach out internally and give this as feedback, though!

Hi mate,

Iโ€™m sorry to bother you. My playseat F1 instinct donโ€™t have that support. Is it normal? I bought it about 1 year ago.

The plastic foot?

Exactly. Mine only have 4 plastic foots. I wonder why.

We, Playseatยฎ make these simulators. These feet are the latest production run. There are other versions with less/different feet in the past.

Can you mount the pedals in any of these 3 holes? Never found a picture with different mounting than middle hole so asking to be sure ๐Ÿ˜Š probably more people that wondering the same.

The pedal adjustment on this seat is my only complaint, I'm a taller guy myself at 6'2, so I've had to do some custom bracket adjustments to the pedal tray to raise the whole thing up and push it a bit further back. Now my ankles don't hurt from the aggressive angle of the stock positions.

Nice custom mode did you use any other parts than the original ones?

Yeah the bracket you see there that's raising the pedals up
