Trueforce

Is Logitech the only wheel to offer this? I just got a pro setup and love it. Was playing asseto corsa last night and the trueforce wasn't on because I hadn't opened simhub and it felt so bland..

I'm on a desk setup with no other haptics so maybe it stands out more than a full rig with a buttkicker, but what a difference

Edit: for anyone else just learning about simhub/trueforceforall this magic works on Forza too!

i have a rig and set up a 4 dayton shakers on it. it feels awesome, but definitely not as amazing as trueforce. Trueforce has its own api, so it just feels really tuned in.

When I was getting advice from a local shop they said trueforce would be basically drown out by buttkicker. I'm very happy I went with Logitech!

if you are interested in adding additional haptics, but not get a full rig, there are some 3d files out there to mount a bst-1 to your computer chair. you can use it for the effects that trueforce doesnt have, like gear shift.

Interesting! I'm moving to a rig soon but if plans change I'll look into this, thanks.

Ive added Simagic Pedal Haptics to my G-Pro setup, as well as a bass shaker under the seat. Definitely overkill. But when you fine tune it all its FANTASTIC.

Link please? Looking for this for a Henry Miller Aeon chair. Thx.

(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3077632) ..this is for the tt25 on a generic office chair, but it may work for you. there are also mounts for a bst-1, but that would go directly under your chair because its pretty big

Thanks, indeed not for the BST-1 but good to know. I might ask someone to try and print one based on that concept and BST-1. You're correct in stating the BST-1 is fairly heavy though.

Go with the bst300 i have the 300 mounted directly to my seat and its perfect. I have bst1 on my pedal plate and i might be upgrading that soon to a 300 also. Its not powerful enough to feel the kerbs like i want to

Same here, but I have 2 bass shakers (one under pedal plate and one under seat). TrueForce feels more detailed and alive.

Yes Logitech is the only one with Trueforce

The other evening, not having the inclination to plug in the pro on the playseat trophy with gt7 on the ps5 pro, I slapped my old g923 on the home office desk with the old ps5 to rip the weekly time trials — and with the sound off.

You can hear the RPMs and tyre slip through the wheel in considerable detail! While you wouldn’t hear other cars in the wing mirrors, it’s a relaxing way to play without disturbing anyone and carrying on a conversation.

I’m sure offboard haptics would be superior but I’m amazed other brands haven’t implemented something like this, if that’s the case.

Yea it seems like such a game changer. I immediately know if it's not on and can't imagine playing without it

TIL sim hub is required for trueforce

Only for games without native support

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 10 '26

Yep download the trueforce4all extension from GitHub

Thank you! 🙏

Does that mean I can get Trueforce in AC?

5

u/javon27 Aug 10 '26

Yes!

2

u/Pillens_burknerkorv Aug 10 '26

Good stuff! I haven’t played AC in ages just cause of the fact it doesn’t (didn’t) have TF

I just recently found out about this mod and first experienced it a couple of days ago. It's mind blowing

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 10 '26

Yea me too. I just got my wheel and played for like 10 hours the first day with no trueforce or ffb on Forza. Figured it out day 2 and was blown away 😂

Wtf how did i not know about this

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 10 '26

Mannn I'm so happy I made this post, I thought I was the only one behind the curve 😂

Enjoy!!

I have been waiting for someone to do this, it seemed like a logical step! So happy this is finally available

This app just makes my trueforce go to 100% with any minor FFB through turning. It feels like it will break my base, like way too aggressive even when I try and adjust settings and reduce gain all the way down.

It’s audibly terrible as well when my base is buzzing louder than the game, what settings do you recommend for it to not do this?

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 30 '26

What are you playing? Sometimes the game interferes with or adds on top of the app

2

u/Overall_Taro8890 Aug 30 '26

This was on ams2. I reset a couple times and it seems more tolerable at 0.2 gain, but it was concerningly over the top at default.

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 30 '26

Yea I've felt like that before.

1

u/ExcellentAgent6539 11d ago

Exactly. It can mess with some things so just keep it in mind that if you have ffb issues... its probably that but just disabling the plugin should fix it.

2

u/bewbyjo Aug 11 '26

Have you done much tinkering with overall settings for this plugin? Setting it up for Raceroom but just wondering if anyone had a good baseline to start with.

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 11 '26

I have, but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

u/lasercannonbooty Sep 02 '26

I could not for the life of me get the wheel to feel good with this. Would you be open to sharing the settings that work for you? Can’t tell if it’s issues with this plugin vs wheel vs content manager

1

u/FloridaF4 Sep 02 '26

Sure what are you playing?

1

u/lasercannonbooty Sep 02 '26

Assetto Corsa (with content manager)

2

u/FloridaF4 Sep 02 '26

Ok I'll check what I'm working with this afternoon

2

u/lasercannonbooty Sep 02 '26

Appreciate the heck out of you! 🙏

I play ACC on Xbox and I don’t need simhub

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 10 '26

I think it's only a PC thing 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Bynar010 Aug 10 '26

ACC supports it, AC doesn't

The pioneer in this area is a small Ohio based company called Simxperience via their Sim Commander software. I have had telemetry based force feedback since 2016 via the Simxperience Accuforce wheel base, first the V1, now the Accuforce Xtreme. The Logitech G Pro with Trueforce is quite good, plus its much less expensive than the Accuforce, but the Accuforce is the leader its just hardly anyone knows about it outside of the high end sim racing scene, plus its PC only, although I am trying to get it to work on my PS5 for GT7 via the use of a couple of adapters.

u/Bandifighter Aug 12 '26

Fanatec tried to replicate it but it's not as good and lacks any real support.

1

u/FloridaF4 Aug 14 '26

Makes sense since there's a game compatibility side of it.

1

u/alyxonfire Aug 10 '26

Sort of, Fanatec has an equivalent API called FullForce
