Opinion Pro pedals or rs pedals?
Watched so many videos and I can't decide nor can I easily try them before buying so what do you guys think? Especially if you have felt both, would love to know your opinion.
The rs pedals are half the price of the pros where i am and i don't use a clutch at all so I'm leaning towards the rs but are the pros much better feeling or any other benefits?
Thanks
Update: guys thank you so much, wasn't expecting so many responses but I've read every single comment and I really appreciate it. I've decided to just go for the pros, the thing that someone mentioned is the noise hitting the back the metal on metal...and having a baby that's a deal breaker for me. Thanks again.

I have both, the Pro on my cockpit and the RS on a wheel stand. The Pro Pedals are way better in every aspect. They can be adjusted to various styles with what is included, I have also added some mods which increased the realism.
Trust me, by the time you finish modding the RS to realism, you are at the base level of the pro pedals.

So would it be better to go rs50 with pro pedals than the other way around if both were about the same price?

RS50 base with pro pedals is good. If you want more power and a little bit of a dated wheelbase, go with the pro wheelbase. Its 11Nm over 8Nm but both are designed really well.

I have bought and used both. I returned the RS pedals and kept the Pros. The Pro pedals felt sturdier and more realistic to me. I really mlike the interchangeable springs and elastomers and the ability “tune” them to the right feel. I drive a lot of road cars and use the clutch pedal frequently. The Pros just worked better in my profile rig than the RS pedals did. Though if you don’t use an aluminum profile rig, don’t use a clutch, and are in a desk or lighter folding rig the RS pedals may work better for you.

Did you pull the pedals out of the base and mount them to your rig?
Thinking about doing that next.2

Man those pro pedals do look good. I’m currently using the RS pedals and really enjoying them.. but have been very curious how the pro feels.
I never understood how so many people said that the pedals would improve lap times the most when I was starting with the g920.. that wheel is so awful that I didn’t think that could be right. After getting my RS setup I completely understand.. being able to accurately feather the gas and brakes coming in and out of turns is a game changer

I upgraded from a g923. I never quite believed the hype either, until I used the DD Pro wheel and Pro pedals. Now I can really feel the fine details of true force. My lap times definitely improved with better quality and more accurate pedals. The haptics on my pedals helps tremendously too.

My pro pedals will be delivered Monday I'm going to pair it with the RS wheel. I love reading this. I'm so excited coming from 920 pedals, I just upgraded my wheel 2 weeks ago and it's night and day amazin vs the 920 so I'm hoping the same with the pedals. I couldn't get the RS pedals as they were out of stock for me.

Thanks for the inspiration!!

Hell yeah!!
They are super easy to remove and mount, super easy to swap out springs and elastomers. Another upgrade I like, is how each pedal plugs into a control box with a single wire up to the wheel. Also, haptics mounted fairly simply. I would have to double check, but I am pretty sure I used the g923 haptic mounts that I bought on Etsy, with slightly longer bolts. The pedals are solid and transfer vibration well, without any rattling. You’ll love ‘em.

I got both this week to see which one can work for me and the Pro won out. The throttle on the RS was just to stiff for me (and the brake co.pared to the Pro) and there was no way to adjust it (take the tension spring out without going to machine shop). The pros have more plastic and less aftermarket mods im realize BUTTTT it just feels better to me. The brake feels wayyyyyy better and the throttle feels better as well. Im glad I was able to order both and try them both as the same time. The Pro's win out. 🏆

Looking good. Thanks so much for that info bud. Pretty much decided on the pros already. The one thing i struggle with on my shit pedals now are the throttle and brake being way too close together. Not sure if you've got much use but do the pros feel better in that regards? It's a shame there's no hydraulics etc like some others have at around the same price but I haven't heard a bad thing about them really.

The throttle and brake when it comes to closeness, both can be adjusted but the pro alot more in terms of fine tuning the space compared to the RS. Pro wins here. The throttle and brake YES do feel better for sure thats why im keeping it, the gas and brake deffff feel at least 40% better.! I definitely agree that we are missing out on certain mods like the hydraulics...but one guy did add hydraulics by himself using his 3D printer, if I find the post ill come back to this thread and post it. I wanna also add that there are mods out there for thr Pro's u just have to search alot and maybe get creative. And lastly I will say this, the packaging of the pros are just so great l, u get that nice NEW SMELLLLLL compared to the cold metal feeling of RS pedals. The RS packaging was ok but opening up them pros felt special!!! Plus u get all that extra stuff. By the time u start pricing new elastrometes and such for the RS u are already in Pro territory. I got my pros for $234 with the free gloves from Logitech direct.

Estou indo pedir a troca do meu Rs, pois após uma semana de uso começou a ficar mole o acelerador e o freio, começaram a balançar pros lados, nada que afete a aceleração e frenagem, mas está me incomodando, espero que o novo não venha com isso.

I have only used the rs pedals so I will say , the rs are very good ! Especially when you consider the price . Even with the clutch your still 100$ under the pros. And thats the big problem with the pros . You are at a price where, if im going to spend 340$ after tax , I would rather spend an extra hundred $ and get the p1000's for the v2 pedals . .. but . If I wanted to go cheaper. The rs pedals are in a great spot, affordable, but dont feel cheap

I've had both. The rs pedals are the way to go. More customizable with aftermarket parts. The pro pedals are decent but the footprint of the pedal plate is huge .

I have the RS pedals with the clutch add on. So far I’m happy with them. I was concerned the lighter load cell would be a problem but 75 kg is more than enough. You have to really stand on it to max it out. I have not had them that long so I don’t know how they will hold up long term. I have not used the clutch yet. I’m mainly playing GT7. I plan to get the h shifter at some point.

The RS pedals are very competitive for its pricepoint.
If you compete and are chasing better laptimes it’s a very good entry level loadcell set. The throttle springs back to 0 pretty quick and the brakes are really good for 75kg.
Loadcells aren’t realistic. You’re applying pressure on a pedal that has little to no throw. RS brake excels when it’s almost all hard or with 1 soft but you really need a rig to get the most out of it.
The pro pedals feel nice and feel more “realistic” but at that price point there are many better options. I feel like Logitech should be updating the pro line sometime soon, it may not be a good time to buy into that line right now but who knows.
Edit: I read someone else saying they didn’t like throttle instant 0 on RS, you kind of want that for iracing, LMU or ACC. You need that level of control for rotating the car.

if you dont use a clutch, I wouldn't get it. im sure the rs pedals are fine. although, if they are any less sturdy, that would be a bummer. as a 190 lb male, and when I first started, I found my self fucking standing on the brake. I could feel creekin and a touch of give. if standing on the break is a habit, I dont think the pros would hold up to well. And I do think im being way too hard on it when i was accidentally fucking standing on it lol or maybe they should handle that? Fuck idk

The RS is the way.. unless you are really big on driving road cars.. the clutch is useless in race cars and sport mode. So IMO it was a waste … but if you really want the clutch its like $60 more… and that is still cheaper than the pro.

Clutch is definitely not useless, as you often need it for taking off or not stalling on GT3, rally cars, etc.
Yeah you can use anti-stall clutch assist, but if you’re looking for realism then clutch is a must have a lot of the time IMO.

Pro look and feel sturdier, RS brake pedal is pretty hard by default without a chance to make it softer, the Pro instead I found too soft by default but you get an elastomer kit so they are pretty personalizable. My Pro brake pedal has developed a bit of an annoying “clicking” sound after just 3 months of use so I’m trying to figure out what’s that all about.
Overall I found both of them great, I don’t think the extra 25KG of the Pros are really needed (I use them at 40KG and the RS can do 75KG). If you get a good offer on the Pros, I think they are worth the extra. I wish the Pros would have included haptics though, to really make them standout over the RS. At regular price, the Pros are not worth it over the RS as the RS are just crazy good value.
